The Level 3 features a 2.5mm aluminum shorting ring (demodulation ring) that:

• Reduces inductance

• Lowers distortion

• Reduces power compression

• Pulls heat from the voice coil windings

• Acts as an internal heat sink

Combined with direct-to-coil venting, airflow cycles across the coil and aluminum ring simultaneously — improving cooling under heavy load.
