The Details

Rock lights are one of those upgrades that sound like show-truck fluff until you're backing a Squarebody down a dark trail and can actually see what your tires are about to eat. Then they make sense. And if you're going to run them anyway, you might as well be able to change the color.

### What You Get

Ten Large RGB rock lights and a wire connector. Ten is enough to do a full underbody on a Squarebody — a light per wheel well, a few down each rocker, and a couple under the bumpers. Enough coverage that you're actually lighting the ground, not just making a glow.

### The Lights Themselves

Fifteen watts each, chasing 5050 SMD chips, 4.84" x 2.15" x 1.1" per light. Double-sided LEDs with a 213–217 degree spread, so light goes wide instead of shooting one narrow beam at the dirt. More usable coverage per light.

Ten lights at 15W each is 150 watts total — roughly 12.5 amps on a 12V system at full tilt. Worth knowing when you plan your wiring and fusing.

### Colors And Modes

Full RGB with 180 dynamic modes. Set them to a solid color, run a chase pattern, or turn on music mode and let them pulse with whatever's playing. Voice mode reacts to sound in the cab. As subtle or as loud as you want it.

### Two Ways To Control Them

RF remote and Bluetooth app. The remote handles color, brightness, speed, and pattern changes without pulling your phone out. The Cool Motor app adds DIY color and pattern building, and it'll run multiple sets together if you add Auxbeam whip lights or headlights later.

### Pair Them With The KS-80 Switch Panel

This is how I'd run them. The Auxbeam KS-80 knob switch panel gives you eight circuits, and the whole ten-light set pulls about 12.5 amps — well inside a single 20A position. Put all ten on one circuit and you get real switching, master dimming, and factory triggers right from the knob.

That means your rock lights can come on with the ignition, dim from the dash, or fire into strobe with everything else on the truck — without hunting for your phone or digging the remote out of the console. The app sets your colors, the KS-80 runs them.

And if you're running my 5" console lift, the storage bay underneath is the cleanest place I've found to hide the rock light controller and the KS-80 control box together. Wiring out of sight, control up top.

### Install

Two mounting options — drill or no-drill — so you can put them wherever they fit. On a Squarebody that usually means inner fenders, frame rails, rocker panels, and under the bumpers. Run the wiring up through the firewall or an existing grommet and you're done.

### Fitment

Universal — they mount to any truck, SUV, UTV, or ATV. Not a Squarebody-specific part, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I can tell you is where they go on these trucks and how to run the wiring clean.

### Why I Carry It

Ten lights, RGB, app and remote, for what a lot of brands charge for four. If you want rock lights that actually cover the underbody instead of just accenting it, this is the kit that makes sense on the money.
