How it began

From a young age, I've been captivated by square body Chevys. When I was 14, my dad came home one day and asked for all my savings. Unsure of the reason but trusting him, I handed over the $800 I had earned over the summer. Later that weekend, he returned with what would mark the beginning of a lifelong obsession.

Losing It All!

In 2016, my wife and I acquired our first diesel K5 Blazer. Over the next two years, we meticulously disassembled and rebuilt our beloved K5, affectionately dubbed "Black Beauty." What began as a simple project soon evolved into an adventure far beyond our initial expectations, transforming into a way of life for us. Whenever we had the chance, we reveled in off-roading through the stunning Plumas Forest in Northern California. Little did we know, our lives were on the cusp of a monumental change. At the close of 2018, we woke up for what would be our final time in our home. I left for work that day, unaware that I would never return to that place. The "Camp Fire" struck, devastating our entire town and everything we held dear.

A Fresh Beginning

After months of battling with insurance over the value of our cherished square body, we finally received the payout for our total loss. Now, I'm on the lookout for a replacement. Just when I had completely lost hope of finding another diesel K5 Blazer, my phone rang. It was a gentleman named Casey, who had heard about our situation. He was genuinely moved by the pain my family and many others have endured. In a generous act, he offered me a 1983 diesel K5 Blazer that had been sitting in a field for 12 years. While he couldn't guarantee its condition, he was eager to help my family reclaim something that held so much meaning for us.

What we have become

Over the past seven years since the campfire incident, we have transformed our stock K5 Blazer, "INGRID," into what it is today. I have long dreamed of starting this business, but fear of failure has held me back from taking the plunge. Now that I have overcome those fears, I’m excited to establish this business model. My goal is to create a one-stop shop not just for parts, but for information as well. We are dedicated to our customers by committing to develop and launch at least one new product every year, alongside providing all the information you might need. I invite you to join me on this journey as I build the website we have all desired.
